Scarlet was born in Buckinghamshire in the UK and trained for four years at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. On leaving, she was invited back to the school to spend another year on their prestigious Junior Fellowship programme.

A versatile multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Scarlet has performed internationally at iconic venues including Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Webster Hall, The Fonda Theatre, Troubadour, Cadogan Hall, 3Olympia Theatre, O2 Forum Kentish Town, and Ronnie Scott's.

As a touring musician, she plays bass, keys, guitar, and provides backing vocals for artists including Orla Gartland, Sigrid, Liang Lawrence, Áine Deane, Jo Hill, and Rachel Chinouriri, with recent tours spanning North America, Europe, and Asia.

She previously sang with the internationally renowned vocal group The Swingles and was a featured vocalist in a trailer for the video game Marvel Snap.
